About Nautilus Plus
Nautilus Plus is a greatly enhanced version of Nautilus offering additional navigational aids and modes to make file management a more pleasant and enjoyable experience.
It provides a slicker and more integrated feel whilst maintaining GNOME's minimalist and easy to use design.
Featuring an optional hybrid spatial/browser interface, it takes the best of both spatial and browser worlds and combines it to create a unique and elegant solution that does away with the need for separate spatial and browser interfaces.
It also provides similiar elements found in the new file chooser such as the pathbar and the shared GTK bookmarks which makes it feel more integrated and familiar.
Because it is based on a patched version of Nautilus, you will continue to benefit from existing and future improvements to the standard Nautilus in GNOME.
The enhancements in Nautilus Plus were written by Jamie McCracken - please feel free to contact me with feedback or new ideas on how to improve things further.
